It accepts expanded water as the system temperature increases, which activates the diaphragm to keep pressure below the valve setting. This diaphragm is made of heavy-duty butyl, and it also helps separate the system water from the tank's air charge. This handy tank saves energy, eliminates potential safety hazards, and reduces system maintenance.

This tank has an outer shell made of durable steel with a urethane topcoat for additional strength. It has a polypropylene liner to protect the interior of the tank. This unit has a maximum operating temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum working pressure of 150 PSIG.
