This tank is designed for use in closed, non-potable, hydronic heating and chilled water systems. It accepts expanded water as the system temperature increases, which activates the diaphragm to keep pressure below the valve setting. This diaphragm is made of heavy-duty butyl/EPDM, and it also helps separate the system water from the tank's air charge.

This handy tank saves energy, eliminates potential safety hazards, and reduces system maintenance. It can be used for propylene glycol applications with mixtures up to 50%. This tank has an outer shell made of durable steel with a urethane topcoat for additional strength. It has a polypropylene liner to protect the interior of the tank. This plastic liner and the stainless steel connection are corrosion-resistant for long-lasting durability.

This tank has a maximum operating temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum working pressure of 125 PSIG. Plus, it has an ample 6.7 gallon capacity. This unit features an In-Sight indicator cap that changes color to alert users that tank service is required. It comes pre-charged with a 15 PSIG air charge, and it has a 1/2" NPTM water connection.
