I purchased these as way to have a more upscale presentation at a picnic. These are much more elegant than, the "dixie" paper plater. I suggest moreso for home catering, and fine picnics. Not commercial use,unless you are a small diner. or something, that u control the usage. They can chip and crack if just thrown in a sink. So that's why I say for small catering, or family use. they will hold, 8 bacon pinwheels nicely. or a nice array of asian appetizers. I used them for wings, so the try was full. If held 12 wingetts.
