Nice it's made from PET so environmentally helpful and it does sit atop a mason jar but it isn't tight by any means and can just slip off and certainly doesn't seal so isnt any help in storage but as a temporary topper to help keep anything from dropping into something it does work like for serving anything someone is going to use quickly

i agree with previous review; it says its very thin and just sits on top of jar. it states it is not applicable for canning on website, but this wouldn't even prevent a spill if its tipped.
Fits well on large mouth mason jars, but overall I was not impressed. Plastic is rather thing, and barely seals the lids of the jars.
