Alpine Dark Chocolate Coating Wafers 25 lb.

I bought this 25lb of dark chocolate Alpine wafers for all of my chocolate making the rest of the year; I thought it was an excellent price and so was willing to give it a go. After reading other reviews about the milk chocolate, I opted for dark, and I'm glad I did, because it tastes more like milk chocolate than dark chocolate to me, lacking any hint of bitterness whatsoever that's typical of dark chocolate. That may not be what you're looking for, but I'm not terribly picky as long as it has good flavor. GET THE DARK CHOCOLATE IF YOU LIKE MILK CHOCOLATE! So glad I listened to the reviews and got the DARK chocolate. I personally don't like bitter dark chocolate and I love milk chocolate, but based on the reviews, everyone was saying he milk chocolate was too sweet and to get the dark, so I did. It definitely looks dark, but it definitely tastes like milk chocolate. It's like a mix between milk chocolate and semi-sweet milk chocolate...it's just absolutely divine. And for those saying that it tastes cheap, they're definitely mistaken. While it's no Hershey's nougat chocolate, it's just as good as the chocolate that coats a Snickers, or Kit Kat or Milky Way. Ordered 25 lb of Alpine Dark without ever having tasted it or worked with it because my candy business lost its local supplier practically overnight. I was assured this chocolate would ship insulated and protected cross-country to the desert where temperature was still in the 90s. It took 6 days to reach me and it was PERFECT on arrival. Great care was used to pack this order with 12 bricks of Nordic Ice surrounding it. This was my first order and I was thrilled with the care used for this precious package. Chocolate melted into a satiny smooth consistency, no need to add any melting crystals. Beautiful shine and lovely, dark color.
