Friends were impressed when I brought out charcuterie on this slate tray. Given slate's natural tendency to be brittle, you do need to exercise some care in handling. Little flecks have broken off the edge, but nothing of consequence.

They are very fragile but well worth it for the look.They all come with chalk to write on with.We use them as a better looking alternative to showcase our pastries.
