Bad quality! The chalk board area bubbled and warped on both sides after only using It for a few moths. Yesterday the wind blew it and broke the whole thing. It wasn’t even very windy .

I was super pleased with the quality of the board itself, but one of the plastic feet snapped off immediately. The board is constructed very well and it's a great size and quality. Overall pleased, but will plan to remove all the plastic feet, they are not really necessary anyway.

The perfect sign for any coffee house to announce specials! Chalk surprisingly holds up well in all weather types, but still cleans off well. I would definitely recommend as the perfect medium for cute, "coffee house" signs!

The surface isn't high quality, if you don't wipe the chalk off at the end of the day the chalk sticks making it very difficult to clean. Thus after the first few days the board started to look old and wasn't shiny.

The best chalkboard ever! I use regular chalks to write things on the board, and the writing looks like it was drawn with markers. The color becomes so vivid when I write on this chalk board. I've used 3 different chalkboards, and this is the best one so far. The only downside is that it doesn't erase easily. It's so delicate that if you write too hard on it, chalks will stain the board.

The size of this sign is perfect when you have limited or restricted sidewalk space; particularly in cities that have minimum walking space requirements in front of stores. There's enough writing area to make a distinctive impression without being obtrusive. It it will hold up against a light drizzle, but I would definitely recommend bringing it inside during rain and wiping off excess water to preserve the wood.
I was very leery of making a purchase of one of these boards based on reviews of other, similar boards. I read things such as poor finish that would not accept chalk, light weight junk that would blow over ect. Well, I bought this one and I can recommend it completely. The writing surface, seems to actually be slate- it was easy to write on, same as I would have expected if it were a typical chalk board. The whole unit is quite heavy, would not be prone to blowing over. In other words, I was expecting the worst and seem to have gotten the best. It looks great for a farmers market vendors such as us or, I would imagine any other application. Came well packed. Do not make the mistake I made when unwrapping though. This A Frame Sign is great. I have used it since the start of my business 2 years ago. It has taken a beating from customers and kids over the time ive had it but has held up beautifully. Definitely ordering another one for my 2nd store!
Great A-sign for the money. I don't think I could find it cheaper anywhere else either. It's long lasting and worst case if it rains, you have a clean A-sign to write on when it dries.
