Is this sign board weatherproof?

Why isn't the chalk working on this board?
Most chalk boards have a protective film covering the writing surface. Remember to remove the plastic film from the chalk board before use. Chalk cannot write on this film.

What a great eye catcher when you walk in the door! Great writing surface and a beautiful addition to any room too. We have been using this for several months and with a good wiping, the black still looks great.

While sprucing our downtown area up we came upon these sign boards and the Chamber of Commerce ordered one for each store owner. We attached to the top a sign with the store's name and now they can write their specials each day in beautiful colors. Made the downtown square more uniform and informative.

Love this A-frame chalkboard! The dark cherry wood looks classy and board is easy to clean. We use for indoor displays and signage, but seems like it would hold up well for outdoor use. Double sided for extra action!

Don't use chalk marker, they will leave shadows when you erase. Use dry chalk only. The sign is pretty light too, It will blow down in the wind, so adding some sort of weight is helpful.
