This slicer "S" knife is a perfect replacement for the one that comes with Assure Parts #12 slicer attachments. You can also use it to convert a shredder attachment into a slicer by purchasing this part. It installs easily into the rear housing of the attachment and allows you to create consistent slices of produce for use as garnishes, ingredients, sides, and more. And since you can adjust the slice thickness up to 1/2" it gives you the versatility to create a range of different recipes without having to change out to a different disc or knife.

definitely does the job naturally the price reflects quality but you can just buy two for the price of one good one and get the same life
The price on this compared to the name brand item is fantastic. It is a direct drop in for our Hobart pelican head. We use it primarily for shredding cabbage for sauerkraut. The adjustable blade height stays well fixed throughout the day. Would give 5 stars, except you cannot buy individual parts. If the plate is bent or damaged, must replaced the whole unit.
This piece of equipment was unusable as it left a grey metal residue on all of our sliced chicken, even after washing it thoroughly.
