We use these on all of our bone in steaks and they definitely help us maintain a good seal and reduce the chance of puncture.
These bone guards did the exact job they were supposed to. We used them on top of bone edges to prevent vacpac bags from tearing. The price was right, too.
These work pretty well. I was looking for something to protect rib bones from puncturing vacuum sealed bags. These are better for pork chops. I wish there were a longer one for racks of ribe.
