Easily access confined spaces with this 3M DBI-SALA confined space 5-piece davit hoist system 8518040. This unit is designed for confined space rescue of an incapacitated worker or for lifting and lowering precious cargo. It pivots for better angles to access manholes and confined spaces, and it easily adjusts for overhead clearance restrictions. It has built-in pulleys for use with 2 mechanical devices, and it has quick-mounting brackets to easily install winches. To fit a variety of spaces, the height is adjustable from 74" to 94 1/2" while the width is adjustable from 70" to 97". It is fall arrest rated in most positions to ensure optimal safety. Plus, it has a telescoping reach of 23 1/2" to 42 1/2".

This unit is constructed of high-strength aluminum with a 450 lb. capacity. It is lightweight, making it easy to transport and set up at different job sites. It is made of 1 upper mast, 1 lower mast, and a 3-piece base. It comes with an integrated 5,000 lb. mast anchorage point to attach a fall arrest device. Thanks to the adjustable foot leveling system, workers can easily adjust each side of the hoist system independently to level it over confined spaces. This unit is tested to meet OSHA 1926.502 requirements.
