Starting up a catering business from the ground up is a slow process. As we slowly grow, we have invested in equipment to expand our offerings and abilities. We recently purchased over 100 plates so we could offer china service to our customers. For a while we would lug the plates around in their original boxes, unpack for each event, wash, and repack. Needless to say the boxes started looking a bit tattered. We purchased nine of these wash & store racks for our 9" plates and we are so much happier. Not only does it make it easier to transport, but it looks more professional; not to mention our elation the first time we could just rinse, rack and slide 48 plates into the dish machine and be done. It was a great decision and we plan on purchasing more for our smaller plates.

Every spring I throw a brunch for about 75-85 people. I got so tired of lugging cardboard "Bankers boxes" upstairs with all my dinner plates. So one day I looked on this site for other options. Now I keep my plates neatly stored and easily accessible. The good part is I can go into this and pull out a particular plate I'm looking for. I couldn't do that when they were stacked in a box on top of one another. This is a great storage solution and it is nice looking, too.I also have the 20-compartment size bc some of my plates are bigger than others.
