Transform the classics into newly conceived modern cocktails with the help of these 18.21 Bitters Prohibition aromatic bitters. A staple ingredient for any bar looking to serve craft cocktails, bitters are highly concentrated extracts that, with just a dash, can help deliver an added layer of flavor, depth, and aroma to cocktails. These bitters have a primary flavor of cloves and spicy cinnamon with undertones of sweet vanilla and black currant to round out its complexity, as well as a fragrant nutmeg aroma. They are perfect for adding to an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or champagne cocktail, as well as creating simple yet flavorful twists on martinis, gimlets, and mai tais. You can even use them to create marinades and dressings, for replacing extracts to bring a unique twist to baked goods, or for adding to honey or maple syrup to create one-of-a-kind condiments!
With 43.5% alcohol per volume and a concentrated aroma, a little bit goes a long way in your beverages and its dropper top makes adding precise amounts of bitters to your drinks an easy task. Packaged in a charming, vintage glass bottle, the presence of the bitters with an antique logo design is sure to add a sleek, timeless look to your bar, restaurant, or lounge's bar shelf.
Designed for the novice bartender and skilled mixologist alike, 18.21 Bitters is dedicated to handcrafting premium cocktail bitters, tinctures, shrubs, syrups, tonics, and other bar mixes so you can elevate your cocktail no matter the spirit! The birth of craft cocktails with the use of bitters can be attributed to the Prohibition era and the frequent need to make bootleggers' unregulated liquor palatable. This woman-owned company's name pays homage to the two constitutional amendments - the 18th and 21st - that are dedicated to America's federal prohibition on alcohol and its later reversal. Small-batch crafted in Atlanta, Georgia, they use only fresh ingredients to create innovative, yet balanced flavor profiles that stand well on their own as well as boost the complexity of your signature drinks. Great spirits deserve equally great mixers - make crafting better cocktails an easy task with 18.21 Bitters!

I worked as a bartender for many years, but this bitter did not come across to me. Now I decided to order for a home bar. I don't understand how I haven't used it before. This bitter can add a twist to your favorite old cocktails.

These bitters add just the right amount of intrigue to your classic Manhattan. Ups the cherry factor from the garnish and adds the slight note of toasty floral from the saffron. Very interesting and a nice way to shake up your cocktail game.
These have a delicious smokey flavor that compliments whiskey very well. They are not particularly acidic, and a very little bit goes a long way. The bitters are almost colorless, so they don't change the color of cocktails.
We love the cherry flavor in this! Even though it tastes like tart cherry, it is not actually very tart. And the saffron adds a nice yellow tint to cocktails.
