How can I properly care for this aluminum item?
Hand washing is always the best option to ensure that your aluminum stays in best working order. However, if you decide to clean these in a dishwasher, we strongly recommend using metal-safe detergents and sanitizers to eliminate any flaking or tarnishing that could occur from some harsher cleaners.
How do I “prepare” this pan for use?

How to Season a Pan

Seasoning your pans enables you to cook great-tasting food with minimal oil, butter, or fat. It also provides a stick-resistant surface, allowing for easy clean up, and will keep your pans from rusting quickly. Check out this video to learn how to season cast iron and carbon steel pans.

Today we're going to show you how to season cooking pans. Pan seasoning is essential to any food service operation, as it keeps your pans from rusting and your food from sticking to the pans. Seasoning cooking pans saves you time and money. We'll show you how to season five different types of cooking pans in this video. A cast iron skillet, a carbon steel fry pan, a carbon steel wok, a tin-plated pan, and a hard coat aluminum pan.

For a carbon steel pan, start by washing, rinsing, and drying the pan. Heat the pan on your range on medium to high heat, then add shortening to the pan. Use a clean dry towel to spread the shortening around the interior of the pan, creating an even coat. Remove the pan from the heat, wipe out the excess shortening and let it cool. You can repeat this process up to 3 more times. For a cast iron skillet, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and set aside. Wash, rinse, and dry your skillet. Place the skillet in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and coat the entire skillet with shortening, inside and out. Place the skillet in the oven for 45 minutes with the baking pan on a rack below it to catch any mess. You can repeat this process up to three more times.

    These pizza pans make making pizza at home so easy and so fun. The pizzas come out perfect every time and have a nice crispy but fluffy crust. A must have!
    What an affordable 12 inch wide rim aluminum pizza tray! This pizza tray is great quality and I would buy more of these knowing it is so great.
    Our 12" round pizza trays are always in use. We transfer hot baked pizza into this tray for sliding. After sliding we plate the pizza.
    Not much to say here. This is a solid utility tray that we use to serve our pizzas. They do their job and they last forever. Also a good price.

    Wow! Much better quality than what I expected for the price! Very thick aluminum which distributes heat well and holds its shape. Very easy to clean, and so far no issue with sticking.
    Can't say enough good things about these pizza trays. Just to clarify something that might be confusing. The rim takes up 1" of the 12 inches, so if you are serving a 12-inch pie, there will be no left over rim. If you serve a 10" pie, it will leave 1" of rim showing all the way around. These are sturdy, easy to clean, and rim isn't raised up so much that it gets in the way (think of when you're cutting the pie). Excellent product, excellent value!

    I think the quality seems to be good so far. I have not cooked with it yet but they are very sturdy. The 12" tray is a good size for your average frozen pizza from the grocery store.
    Great quality product. We are avid pizza eaters, so this has definitely come in handy for us. The only downside is, if we cook the pizza on this tray, the crust doesn't come out as crispy as we prefer. Overall, we're very happy with this purchase.
    We bake our pizza on these, we switched from using the pizza screens to these since the screens are annoying to wash. they work well but do make for a slightly puffier crust.
    I received these pans the day before my restaurant opened. Delivery speed was amazing. And the pans are extra thick and sturdy! in fact a little too thick, because it takes a couple extra minutes now to cook pizza than on similar, thinner pans.
    Our cooking staff love using the aluminum pizza pan. The dough and finished product slide easily off the tray. We typically wash it by hand and have no problem with stubborn sauces sticking.
    This is a good sturdy pan, I usually cool my pizza on this pan than more to a cutting board to cut the pizza than back to this pan for serving. Not sure how it would hold up to cutting directly on it.
    We got these to serve our 10 inch pizzas on, and we couldn't be happier. They really are the best serving vessel we have found fornour neopolitan pies. More to come for us.
