Soft serve ice cream nutritional facts:
- A 1/2 cup of soft serve ice cream typically contains between 130 to 200 calories.
- Soft serve is generally lower in milk-fat than ice cream.
- A typical 1/2 cup of soft serve ice cream contains on average 3.5 grams of protein.
- While gluten-free soft serve ice cream is available from certain companies, to avoid potential cross-contamination, always ask before you buy.
- Select brands of soft serve ice cream mix are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Is soft-serve dairy-free or non-dairy?
Items are labeled in accordance with FDA regulations because they do not contain lactose. However, certain products do contain the protein sodium caseinate, which is a milk derivative.
