Its resistance to breakage means that it will be difficult for weak spots to form thus giving you peace of mind that the spoon won't crack, splinter, or snap accidently leaving parts of plastic behind in your expertly prepared meals.
This spoon is recommended for wet temperatures up to 212 degrees and withstands dry heat up to 270 degrees. It can be coordinated with spoons of like colors (sold separately) in order to prevent cross-contamination. The 1.5 oz. capacity ensures consistent portion sizes, and its one piece construction makes it easy to clean. Use it at any buffet or deli to serve up favorites like mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, or coleslaw!

Very surprised when I received my assortment of these 11” serving spoons. They are definitely well made; one solid piece. The serving spoon is good for both hot and cold. I almost forgot to mention that they do have a small indent in the handle to be able to rest on the dish without it sliding in.
Even though this is a nice solid black spoon, it seems to collect particles of dust when hanging or drying. Aside from that, the spoon would hold a lot of solid food from a buffet.

Love the spoon..it is great for my non-stick cookware & pretty, too! It is the perfect size...the second one I have ordered and want to get one more. The only thing is that they tend to leave water spots when washed in the dishwasher on the top rack. Thanks so much!
