Use this Wooster Supergrit stair tread nosing to protect your patrons and staff from unnecessary injuries. Designed to be installed with new construction or on existing stairs, this nosing is great for protecting stair edges from damage and helping to prevent slips and falls. Its 1/4" thick nose with 1 1/8" underside is made to lay flush with the top of the step's surface when added to new concrete or steel pan filled stairs. This nosing's type 6063-T5 extruded aluminum base is heat-treated, resistant to corrosion, and features a satin lacquered finish that adds durability and protection against temperature changes, making it perfect for indoor or outdoor use. Depending on the length of the step, this nosing may terminate 4" from the ends of the step for easy cleaning or be the full length of the step with less than 1/8" of clearance.

This nosing's convenient tread is ideal for use on high-traffic stairways. It is durable and built to last under heavy traffic with the use of anti-slip diamond-hard aluminum oxide filler with 65% or more virgin grain aluminum oxide abrasive. Plus, the black filler color extends uniformly throughout for a consistent and attractive look. For added safety, this stair tread nosing is non-combustible and nonflammable as tested under Federal Test Method Standard No. 501a, Method 6411. Installing it is easy and inexpensive with countersunk holes and Tapcon anchors that come standard with each purchase!
