This product unfortunately is not at all flavorful. We used this product as a topping in an ice cream shop since matcha and hojicha powders are amongst the popular toppings. While the color is nice to top with aesthetically speaking, it does not add anything else to change the flavor profile of whatever it is topping. Despite the intriguing name the overall experience does not live up to its description and I do not advise anyone to use this powder if you're looking for flavor enhancer.
