Perfect for laying out small amounts of meat. Would not recommend used for mass production, it's not that it can't do jt, it's that it takes too long to fill back up.

I found this worked well for me, but with some serious caveats. If you are just looking to explore the making of jerky and sausage, then this is a good first gun. But understand that this will not work well if you plan on making lots of product. It holds only a small amount of meat, so making significant quantities requires refilling - and that can get messy very quickly. So either get this as a way to explore and expect to get a better one if you like what you produce, or buy something bigger/better from the start.
