Melt chocolate and prepare delicate sauces and custards with this Vollrath 78580 Classic 11.5 qt. stainless steel stock pot / double boiler pot.
Double boilers are great for preheating, reheating, and moisture-free cooking. This stock pot is designed to work with the Vollrath 77113 double boiler inset and 77112 solid cover or 78200 slotted cover (all sold separately). It also works well on its own to cook batches of pasta and vegetables.

For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.
