The Vollrath Jacob's Pride 4781270 12" long green coated handle tongs are easy to clean thanks to their one-piece construction. They're constructed from durable 20-gauge stainless steel, with plastic coated handles that are heat-resistant up to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. The stainless steel end of the tongs is heat-resistant up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

The bold, green plastic coating also designates these tongs should be used with produce to reduce the risk of cross-contamination during the cooking process.     These are awesome scalloped tongs. The rubber coating does work, and there is no space for bacteria growth. Vollrath products are great, we buy Vollrath anytime we can. Some of the cheaper brands lose the stiffness quality of the tongs at the 'joint' if you will. But these are much sturdier. Pay the extra dollar or two, it's worth it.

    Good quality and simple scalloped tongs. Can not beat the price for color coated kool touch handles either. Shipping was fast and managable if combined with a larger order.

    The Vollrath Jacob's Pride 12" Stainless Steel Scalloped Tong with Green Coated Kool-Touch Handle is great for a grill, large pot of fryer. It hold up to heat well and it closes evenly. It is highly versatile and long lasting.

    Love these tongs - handles are color coded and retain their color after multiple washings and sanitizing. Great handle length and the scalloped edge grips my product without damaging it. BOH loved the idea of the color coded handles to prevent cross contamination. Webstaurant has the best pricing on these tongs and quick delivery.
