With the Green Drain trap seal, all you need to do is insert it into the drainage pipe. As seen, the rubber side "ruffles" located inside of the seal work to allow water to flow out freely through one side and stay tightly closed off on the other. This works to prevent unwanted contaminants from getting into your building through the pipes.
