Maintain a sharp blade with this combination whetstone from Norton.

Dull knives aren't just difficult to use; they're also a safety hazard! With this stone, you'll be able to keep your knives sharp long after the original edge wears down. The stone features two sides of varying grit levels, one that's extremely coarse and the other that's moderately coarse. Together, the two sides make the stone a convenient and compact tool, perfect for any kitchen setting!

Easy to Use

Made with aluminum oxide abrasive, this stone can be used with either water or oil. Plus, it's well suited for all sizes of knives, making it great for any prep station or commercial kitchen.

Dual Sided

The dual sided stone allows the user to conveniently sharpen and hone their knife with one tool, allowing for consolidation when possible. This stone's extremely coarse (Grit 100) side is perfect for creating a new edge, while the medium (Grit 320) side is great for honing and maintaining the edge of the knife.

Sharpens Quickly

Because it has a large surface area, the stone requires fewer passes than other stones to sharpen knives. This means that you'll have them sharpened in a fraction of the time!

How to Sharpen Your Knives

Keep your knives sharp and performing at a high level with regular sharpening and maintenance! Watch this video to learn the proper techniques to sharpening with a stone, and how regular maintenance will extend the life of your knives!

Follow these quick and easy steps to properly sharpen your knives. Place a damp towel on a cutting board to keep the stone in place. Then lubricate the stone with oil or water. Before you begin, you’ll need to find the optimal 22.5 degree sharpening angle. To do this, hold the knife at a 90 degree angle. Then, half the angle to 45 degrees, and then half it again to 22.5 degrees. Next, pull the knife heel to toe, following the proper angle about 5 to 10 times. Then flip the knife and repeat. This time push the knife toe to heel about 5 to 10 times, being sure to maintain the angle. Then flip the knife and repeat. To use a sharpening steel, start again with a damp towel on a cutting board to keep the steel in place. Then find your 22.5 degree angle. Pull the knife heel to toe, alternating sides around 5 to 10 times. Wipe down the blade with a damp towel, and you’ll have a sharp knife ready to tackle all of your daily prep work!

Great sharpening stone. Half the price I paid for my last one and its larger. Good for any size knife. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Use this weekly, does the job very well. It is not a Japanese water stone but it keeps us sharp and ready to go in the kitchen!
Very nice stone be sure to use a good amount of oil to help the process. Always keep it in oil so that way you don't have to oil it every time
This stone is a great tool for our busy kitchen. We have to sharpen our knives very often and this is defiantly a good buy.
Good stone. Sharpeners any knives that I have used. Like any good stone, if you do not know how to use it, your knives will not get sharp. I could have spent less money and got the same quality stone but needed one at the time and added it onto my order since it did not change the shipping amount. I would purchase this again.
This stone is pretty good. I bought it to sharpen the kitchen knives and it does a good job. The price isn't too bad either.
This is a dual sharpening stone that has a fine sharpening on one side and coarse on other opposite side. It works well for all knives and it's very easy to use.
I've used this over the past year and a half. It does a great job (any problem you have with this is with the user and not with the product!). It's taken me a little to get used to instead of relying on a machine to sharpen my restaurant knives, but I will never go back! It doesn't chew up my knives, leaves a sharp edge and is consistent! Additionally, I use it to sharpen the cutting blade with my meat grinder. A+ product for a very reasonable price!
This sharpening stone does a great job getting all of my cutlery razor sharp. It is nice to be dual sided so you can avoid buying 2 separate stones.
Great stone for the price. It works well with all my knifes. Perfect size when working in small kitchens, very pleased with it, would definitely recommend.
Great sharpening stone for the inexpensive price. Great home use for the small size and quick accesibility. It does a great job for any knives around the house.
This is a perfect sharpening stone for beginners! Great for keeping knives sharp and the size makes it easy to travel with! Great price as always on Webstaurantstore.com!!!
