We sometimes have to prove the equipment is working properly and the issue is the building HVAC. Our old sensors needed an upgrade, thus we decided to try these. We found this unit easy to setup and had many sensors to choose from. We opted to buy the door open and two remote temp sensors. With the integral humidity and temp sensors gave us many channels of data to review. We did a test on a refrigerator in our room, as well as the room. The data is easily downloaded and upon graphing in excel, we discovered some interesting trends. So far so good. A footnote, this unit runs on AA batteries.

Purchased for use in 11 locations. Setup is simple. Ability to read 2 separate units with additional probes. Text and email notifications, with ability to assign different people to receive these notifications at different locations. Great that dashboard is already connected to webstaurant account, making it easy to monitor. Would definitely recommend.

Do not purchase unless you want a lot of alerts every day telling you that the device cannot connect to the Internet, although it as well within range.

Thank you for your review, Zach! The manufacturer recommends utilizing an external probe or one of our monitoring kits for your application in an ice cream freezer. In ice cream freezers, the dense tubs of ice cream interfere with the signal strength of the device, which can cause extra alerts. Please contact our Customer Solutions Team with any questions.
The product works good. My issue is, I can't get the probes for it. Maybe on back order. I ordered an additional set with probes included two weeks ago,but it hasn't been sent yet.

Exceptional products for the price point great functionality good battery life with the appropriate settings, and an option for hardwiring. Super responsive support team that are hyper focused on providing the most value and functionality for the product. Easily exceeds functionality on products that are four times the price.
Pretty good for what it is. The price is phenomenal for monitoring equipment. A better mount would be cool tho.
