Among the many Wege of Hanover products, their beloved sourdough hard pretzels are their most popular. The original recipe was created by a German immigrant who came to work for the company in the 1920s. When the pretzel quickly became their top-selling item, the Wege family discontinued the production of breads and rolls but they continue to make a variety of delicious pretzels today.
