Nantucket Nectars was the creation of Tom First and Tom Scott after they moved to Nantucket, Massachusetts and opened a floating convenience store in the Nantucket Harbor. In 1989, the two friends attempted to recreate a Spanish peach drink and ended up brewing the first juices for the Nantucket Nectars brand. From just selling to boats in the harbor to distributing across the nation, Nantucket Nectars was recognized as one of the fasted growing companies in the U.S. five years in a row.
