Starting in 1923, Hirzel Canning Company began producing and canning Dei Fratelli products. The company was founded by Carl R. Hirzel and was ran by him, his wife, and son. Nearly an entire century later, the Hirzel legacy continues on by growing premium products in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan and producing Dei Fratelli Tomato Products.
