This was the best I ever had fed a large crowd and froze the leftovers, there was more meat than I though would be in it. And very nice and creamy. Will buy this again, and family members want it now too. Next time I will buy 2 cans and one will get put in our survival food bank.

I bought this and took it to my veterans club to serve as one of their daily lunch specials. They served it over Texas toast with mashed taters and corn. Everybody liked it . They want me to order more!

I purchased 3 cans...1 for consumption and 2 to store. It reminded me of the chipped beef on toast my Grandma used to make except with cheddar added. I love cheddar cheese so it was perfect for me. If your not a Cheddar fan you more than likely wont like it. I had mine on top of Thomas english muffins and it was great.
This creamed beef looks good, and presents as if it were home made, There is a good amount of beef in the recipe too. Unfortunately, it has an of off taste that I would attribute to the cheddar used in the recipe. Chipped beef is generally a pretty basic recipe of beef, flour, milk and seasoning. The use of cheddar in this version, blows this out of the water and makes this a very different tasting dish, in my opinion. It's unfortunate, because it would have otherwise been a good product.

Maybe I was spoiled by another brand of CCB over the years. This product had an odd, pudding-like consistency, and an unpleasant taste of bad cheese. Adding butter did not help and I had to throw away most of it. Would definitely not reorder.

The sauce is very creamy and loaded with cheese. The amount of beef to cheese ratio is not very proportionate for me. The taste reminds me of the kind that was made in my childhood, which was very delicious over toasted bread.
This is just like what I grew up with. 2 cans filled up a 7 quart Crock pot. Put 2 loaves of bread out with a toaster for self serve. Feed two dozen people at an American Legion meeting. All was gone. I was asked to do this again. Even taste great with beer.
The cream sauce was too rich and overpowered the the flavor I was expecting from the chipped beef I have had in the past. However I strained the beef out and made a more traditional sauce and it was great.
I used this item it was a easy to make a nice meal and fast if you do not have a lot of time and want something Quick.
