Attention CA Residents:I had never used a mesh trashcan before, and was hesitant at first since I thought maybe since it had holes in it, stuff/trash might pop out, and not all my trash is just paper, but after I received the Universal UNV20008 18 Qt. Black Mesh Metal Wastebasket #328UNV20008 it's all good now, even small shreds of paper, food, etc holds tightly in there, it's well constructed and a breeze to empty.
