This Traulsen SER-27568-00 equivalent magnetic door gasket is a direct replacement for the one that came standard on select refrigeration equipment. A vital part of your unit's door assembly, the gasket locks in cold air so that the refrigeration system doesn't have to run as often to maintain the proper temperature. If the gasket is torn or worn beyond its usable life, more air will escape the cabinet, forcing your unit to work harder to maintain temperature and putting unnecessary strain on other parts like the compressor. Inspect gaskets frequently and replace them when you notice signs of wear and tear!
