Holes are too large for steaming many foods without a screen on the bottom, but capacity is ample and the large holes certainly circulate enough steam.
Great for steaming veggies. Will most likely need to add a screen to keep veggies from falling through the large holes, but definitely gets the job done!
The Town Aluminum Steamer is great! It does what it's supposed to do. It fits perfectly on top of a vollrath pasta pot. The holes inside aren't too big and aren't too small. Great buy
A generous sized steamer basket should be something everyone owns and this one is great. I use mine for tamales and I couldn't be happier. It will hold 30 plus good sized tamales and with the lid it has a good seal. I have tried silicone and smaller sizes but I keep reaching for this one time and time again.
