Despite the device's compact design, the 5 1/2" screen displays age prominently and is easy to read even in direct sunlight. An audible alert system will notify you instantly in the event of underage, expired, tagged, or re-scanned ID detection. It also features over five generated challenge questions to verify a patron's identity and pop-up warnings that require interaction for re-scanned and tagged clients. There are intuitive warning icons that will alert for age warning thresholds for alcohol and tobacco, making this the perfect device to use at liquor stores, convenience stores, and bars. For added convenience, you can add cities, states, or zip codes to a list that will alert the user when that location is scanned. In the event that the scanner is lost or stolen, its "Find My Device" function will locate the scanner, allowing you to see it on Google Maps, lock it, and erase any data remotely for added protection.

This scanner has the capacity to save over 75,000 scans and over 50,000 customers with a time and date stamp for due diligence and a manual or auto-delete option after a custom number of days to meet local ordinances. The screen also displays a customer visit counter so that you can identify loyal patrons or new visitors. It features an intuitive touchscreen and a high performance Honeywell scan engine for handling hard-to-read barcodes. The adjustable scan counter allows you to track attendance. This scanner offers simple customer management with its options to search, review, and update email and phone and tag data. IDs can even be manually input if necessary. Additionally, this scanner allows for the easy export of data to a USB drive as an Excel CSV file so that you can keep an ongoing log of data backed up on your computer.

This device features advanced security measures, with a PIN code setup that prevents anyone without the code to access sensitive customer information. This scanner has a rugged, military-grade polycarbonate case and includes an attached hand strap to help prevent drops. It has been drop tested at a height of 5 feet on 6 sides on concrete surface for added assurance of just how durable it is. Additionally, this device is water-resistant and comes with a charging cable included.
