Easy to Apply

The label features an adhesive backing to easily stick to a dry item, such as a glass or plate. From there the label, which is waterproof, measures the temperature while the item is being sanitized in hot water without a chemical agent or in stationary, single temperature dish machines where the minimum temperature is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. It is for a single use only.

Tests to 170 Degrees Fahrenheit

The temperature measurement is visible by the thermocromatic color-change band on the label. When the wash cycle reaches 170 degrees Fahrenheit, the band changes colors from blue to orange. The label measures temperatures within +/- 2 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ideal for Record-Keeping

After use, the label is easily removed and added to the facility's records. Because it features 2 blanks, one for a signature and another for a date, the label makes logging the temperature of your machine fast, easy, and accurate. With the label on record, you can efficiently monitor the performance of your dish machine and ensure that all dishes are properly washed prior to use.

Avoid getting a violation from the health department and stock up with the Taylor 8751 TempRite Single Use Dishwasher 160 Degrees F Test Labels if you have a HIGH TEMP dishwasher. I keep in a ziplock container away from water and heat. They work as they should all the time.

As represented. We have a small bed and breakfast. So we need to test the dishwasher temperature from time to time to make sure that the dishes are getting sanitized during the wash cycle. Seems to work well.

My high temperature dishwasher sanitizes dishes when it reaches 180° during the cycle. Although there is a built in thermometer on the front of the machine, however we use these stick on thermometer strips biweekly just to be absolutely certain. They work just as described. You apply them to the surface of any item to be washed and wash them in the machine as you normally would. The blue strip changes to orange if 180° has been reached. I also created a Log were we apply the used label and keep record of each test we've done.

We use these for our licensed home kitchen. Even the board of health thought they were a great idea and was going to pass it on to other restaurants that are always having issues with their thermometers.
