This pitcher is great for iced teas and other chilled/cool beverages. What makes this pitcher special from the rest is that the core compartment is where you put the ice, that cools the surrounding liquids. This is very handy on the hot days since the beverage stays cool for a couple of hours.

Base is too narrow. It's top heavy because it's made of plastic which is lighter than an equivalent glass pitcher. Pitcher tips over unless the pitcher is very full. Would not buy again.
