Swedish Fish 5 lb. Bag Soft and Chewy Candy - 6/Case

The fish were stale, like they dried out a bit. They were not rock hard but dried out a bit on the outside and didn't have that gooey / chewy texture that the Swedish fish are famous for. Im thinking they probably sat around in a warehouse for a while.. For the sake of testing, i went and opened another bag of them, and they were slightly better, but you could still tell they seen better days. The date on the package said december 26, so, while technically they are still in date, not by much. they are still sellable, maybe warm them a bit see if you can re soften them a bit or work that 'crust' off them, but unless you sell a lot of these, id not stock up on a case, they probably won't store well, for long. thank you Aaron

Do not recommend buying. Received 11/28/2023 and best by date is 01/28/24. Not only are they HARD and not chewy, that leaves a very short time before I am able to use them in my business.

Swedish Fish are a nice chewy treat with that characteristic red fruity flavor! This is a huge quantity and that makes it the best price around.
