We take a wire and premeasure and wrap in cubes for easy use and storage. We are small, so one block gets us through about 4 months. It maintains perfect integrity until used. We get the creamiest buttercream with the Sweetex shortening + it is more stable than regular shortening from the store. We make a delicate Swiss meringue buttercream with this product and have found it holds slightly better in the heat than what we originally used for shortening. Summer months are stressful for transporting cakes safely in warmer temps, but this has helped a bit!
