It cuts bread, slices tomatoes, cuts meat, you name it. The Burgundy Glass is the bread knife of wine glasses and Stolzle makes a fantastic one. If you are going to pick a Burgundy Glass you need at least 22 ounces. This is 24.25 ounces and more than sizable. This is because you really want to get your whole schnoz in that glass and really take in the nose of the wine. This is why I use Burgundy glasses to drink ANY red or white whine and they really make it taste better. The whole experience is better.
