This is a lovely, elegant, yet sturdy glass. I want a stem under my "glencairn" glass --as long as it's shorter and sturdier than that of a wine glass. Don't you? So the glass is great for not only whiskies, but also for port, and cognac, etc. This glass is great. Webstaurant is, too; delivering what they described, swiftly, for a fair price.

Very elegant. Nice for real port lovers. Enables one to sip and enjoy the subtle nuances of a fine port, which should never be guzzled. Sometimes the small drop gives more flavor than a full swallow as one would do with other cocktails.
Very pretty glasses. Smaller than a normal wine glass, we use these to serve ice wine because ice wine is normally only a 3 oz pour and it looks silly in a regular white wine glass.
