Works as advertised. It is a tankless heater, so it will take 10 seconds or so for the water to come up to temperature. Make sure you have a connector hose for the heater and sink. This doesn't come with one.

Activated by a minimum 0.40 GPM flow rate, this unit boasts 3.0 kW of heating power and a high-limit pressure cutout with manual reset for optimum safety and peace of mind. It includes a 0.5 GPM aerator; no pressure relief valve, drains, or circulating pumps are needed as it is designed to operate only when water is flowing through it.
The Stiebel Eltron 220816 Mini 3 point-of-use tankless water heater features a compact, space-saving design with an attractive, high-impact polycarbonate housing. It is designed to be fed with cold water only rather than with hot water flowing into it.
