Southern Hens 10 lb. Fully Cooked Pulled Chicken

We found this product pretty hit and miss. The convenience was great not having to buy and store and cook and pull our own raw chicken ourselves but this shipped frozen and when it thawed out it had a slightly offputting smell and often times ended up being pretty rubbery. We noticed a difference in our sandwiches and on our salads. We used it for about half a year and then ended up switching back to doing it ourselves because it just wasn't up to the quality we wanted to offer for our guests. But it's worth a try if you're looking to save money and save time! It might be a good option for your business depending on your application of it.

The first serving of this that I've had, I was a little indifferent. However, I think it's important to pay attention to the product page stating to thaw and lightly heat. I placed several large pieces in a 1/6 metal pan, and cooked in an air fryer. After, I tossed them in bulgogi sauce, it did not seem to help. Some of the pieces looked bruised and/or dried out fairly badly. I'm marking this as 'yes' for meeting my needs, because I think next time I will thaw them and see what this product ends up tasting and acting like.

Wow! What a delicious time saver. I bought this and separated it in to smaller portions. I have used this for barbeque sandwiches, fajitas and stew.

This Pulled Chicken is absolutely perfect for making chicken salad, and takes out the work of shredding the chicken myself, and is great quality! Love it!
