Sioux Chief 556-2 Details
Use this Sioux Chief 556 Series PickUp Talon tube hanger as a reliable way to secure CTS tubing in piping systems. This hanger is compatible with 1/2" copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing. It easily snaps onto CTS tubing while still allowing for expansion and contraction. This protects the tube from abrasive mounting surfaces and helps eliminate ticking noises. Install multiple in alternating directions to ensure piping is secure. This unit is preloaded with a zinc-plated, rust-resistant continuous ring-shank nail to provide a permanent hold.
This hanger is designed to prevent tube damage if the nail is overdriven. The body is made of high-density black polyethylene for UV and corrosion resistance. It is also impact-resistant down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and it can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit has a maximum load rating of 12 lb.
