Sioux Chief 551-2 Details

Use this Sioux Chief 551 Series SiouxStrap tube hanger as a reliable way to secure CTS supply lines in piping systems. This hanger is compatible with 1/2" copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing. It easily snaps onto CTS tubing while still allowing for expansion and contraction. This provides 1/4" of stand-off to isolate the tube from surfaces, which reduces heat loss and noise transfer. This unit is preloaded with a zinc-plated, rust-resistant continuous ring-shank nail to provide a permanent hold.

This hanger is designed to prevent tube damage if the nail is overdriven. The body is made of high-density black polyethylene for UV and corrosion resistance. It is also impact-resistant down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and it can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit has a maximum load rating of 12 lb.
