Great for a wide variety of maintenance applications, this Shurtape general-purpose black electrical tape is a smart addition to any toolbox. It's 7 mil thick and easy to tear by hand, featuring a strong, rubber-based adhesive that won't corrode and a PVC backing with a tensile strength of 16 lb. per inch.
The tape is also resistant to water, oils, acids, alkalies, and UV rays. Such engineering makes it ideal for either indoor or outdoor use, so you can stock your facility with just one type of tape to handle virtually any task. It performs well in up to 600V conditions and can withstand a service temperature range of 32 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Plus, it's flame-retardant for maximum safety.
