Shank's Spanish Saffron - 25 Grains - 12/Case

Shank's Spanish Saffron from webstaurant is a good find. Im excited to use Saffron for spanish dishes such as chicken with rice, spanish rice and paella. I started seeing alot of higher end restaurant using ridiculous amounts of saffron for garnishes aswell.

Best Spanish Saffron I've found for the money. Beautiful strands of Saffron and lovely aroma. The most you will ever need is 10 strands of saffron. Yes, that TEN strands. Then again, if saffron is the predominant flavour in you dish. If it isn't, just go with 5 strands Another win for Webstraunt.

Beautiful aroma! I use them for all Indian traditional sweets. When soaked in hot milk, this gives a very nice saffron color and aroma. Adds an extra touch to many Indian traditional rice dishes as well.

we usually do not use saffron as its super expensive but found it here for a reasonable price.this spice is great in many rice dishes.

Seriously, where are you going to buy any amount of saffron for under five bucks. It is the most expensive spice in the world after all. This package contains enough saffron for numerous uses. Usually we use it to add a delicate flavor and aroma to rice dishes, but we also use it in eggs and seafood. A small pinch will also add a beautiful yellow-orange color to your dish as well. If you've ever wanted to try saffron, get this. You will like it.

This saffron is cheap but not great quality. Needs twice the amount called for in a recipe to flavor it. So on a cost per use basis it's not as good a deal as it may appear.

Hard to fine at this price point. It was fresh and aromatic. More than I thought I would receive. Definitely a good deal and Iwould buy again.

Not an experienced user of saffron, but smells nice and I used it in some rice dishes. Can't really complain with the price.

Not that great of a quality product. Didn't work well in the kitchen. Price is high but that's what it is for saffron. I would definitely not purchase this again, it did not stain the rice at all.

Haven't used this yet but I am psyched from the price alone. When received it was packaged thoughtfully and pungent smelling. Paella here I come!

I love saffron when baking and in rice. This is excellent quality. Was not sure when the quantity was listed in grains however the package I received was more than what I get from the place where I usually purchase. Will buy again for sure.

Great quality for the price. The tight fitting lid is a plus as the threads can be stored in the container. Have had no issues with keeping its freshness. Will definitely buy again.

Decent quality saffron. The price is pretty good too. It's not the MOST aromatic saffron, but for the price you pay, it is a fair product

Excellent value for this saffron! We cannot make paella without it. It has that special heady aroma you can only get from real saffron. I highly recommend it.

Due to the high cost i had never purchased saffron before. At Webstaurants price i thought I would give it a try. WOW! I can not compare the flavor to any other product but the response to an old recipe at a dinner party was ecstatic when the only change made was adding this in....a convert for life!

We use saffron a lot in our dishes that we cook and I found buying it from this company was more cost efficient than purchasing from a grocery store!
