This Garde XL shaft lock serves as a direct replacement for the one that came with your rotary slicer. It helps secure the blade assembly to the rotary slicer frame. It easily installs in the trough assembly of the unit. If the original shaft lock that came with your rotary fruit / vegetable slicer is broken, malfunctioning, or missing, be sure to swap it out with this direct replacement to resume safe and proper function. This shaft lock is compatible with Garde XL XLROTOSLICE rotary slicers and ROTOKITXL rotary slicer kits.
