If you are hanging feather dusters, or anything less than a few ounces in weight this may work. This will not hold a mop, maybe a home mop, but not a commercial mop. The depth of the cam is less than a standard mop handle so it will pop out with any amount of front to back movement from the wet hanging mop (like 2mm worth of sway). I think there is some kind of effort in the world to be sure that there is no way a wet mop can be gripped and hung as every health department requires. This is an expensive shelf, that is all.
