This tape is great. We go through several rolls a month and it holds up well to our uses. It isn't so thin it tears when you try to take a piece, but it also isn't too thick. It doesn't leave a residue unless its been stuck on for weeks, and it comes off easily. It also holds up fairly well when wet, and holds up great to being written with pen and of course marker. We use it on bottles, bins, buckets, and for general labeling needs and I've never felt a need to switch tape brands. There are a lot of tape brands on Webstaurant so I always make sure to check that I'm ordering this one since I know I'll be getting quality. I've included an image of the tape being used to label a shelf. This tape was adhered to the wire shelf and then written on, you can see that it held up well to handling pressure with no support.

Much darker than standard kitchen blue tape. Sharpie is hard to see.
