brush pastry bristles great brushes Nylon butter easy nice pans

I have this for a year now and still white! Unbelievable but true. It’s very soft but it works perfectly. For better use for delicate pastries.

on

I prefer the nylon brushes because they are easier to clean - these are no exception. I use them for making baklava and egg washing various pastries. Would recommend.

from Sweet Gourmet Cafe on

These brushes are so easy to clean and maintain. Use them all the time in the kitchen and the bristles don’t fall off or tear which I great. Highly recommend to all.

from WOODLAND SEWING AND VACUUM CT on

This nylon bristle pastry brush is high quality! We have not had any issues with bristles falling out onto our product. I wiill definitely reorder!

from We're Rolling Pretzel Co. on

Nice, well-constructed brush good for normal applications such as brushing cakes with syrup, brushing sauces on grilled meats, or for plating sauces and other spreads.

After searching 7 different local stores, we could only find these on Webstaurant.com. These are an integral tool in making all of our Greek phyllo pies. We find that horse hair bristles fall out, and silicone bristles just don't apply an nice even layer of butter and/or oil on phyllo dough without tearing, and so nylon bristle brushes are the first choice. The 2" bristle also has enough give that it hits the pastry softly enough and applies butter and oils evenly. The shorter ones under 2" are little too stiff and can also tear... But, this one gets a 5 star from us.

from Galley Wagon LLC on

This brush is great for adding an egg wash to your bread or basting meat. Soft bristles that hold well in the brush through multiple uses and washes.

from Revival Eastside Eatery on

Super stiff and hard to maneuver on the food items. If you need a tough bristle this is it. Otherwise go with a softer boar bristle.

Thank you for the review! We’re sorry this is not working for what you need it for. We suggest trying this 2"W Nylon Bristle Pastry/Basting Brush instead.

I like this brush better than the hair like ones cause they tend to shed the bristols were these stay on much better than most

from Bricks Wood Fired Pizza on

from sabor peruano llc2 on

Love these brushes. had them for a while and they haven't shredded or the brissles melted. Great for hot and cold use. woul definitely recommend

on

I used to have a huge silicone brush, but this little short one is so much easier to handle and store. I used it often for many tasks, usually adding a sauce to some sort of protein that's finishing like BBQ on a whole chicken. Cleans well!

from Starbucks on

good product, it doesnt release stings. which i really like. it is kind of hard to wash (even though you can put it on the dishwasher), it keeps some moisture

from Ganache pattiserie on

For the price this is a nice little brush. I use it for grilling and it works well and cleans up good also. Basic and useful all in one.

from Charles D. Hammond FOP Lodge on

Here at Batter and Dough, we use this nylon pastry brush in order to evenly distribute oil on to our pans to make mini pancakes.

from Boruska atiyah on

Cheap, sturdy, straightforward. Bristles aren't terribly firm but I'm okay with that. I use this in a residential kitchen for oiling items pre-roast (potatoes, broccoli) and sauce plating.

on

This brush does exactly what it should. The bristles seem secure and it's easy to wash by hand. The 2" is a little too big for lattice work though, but other than that it's perfect for brushing pastry.

from Full of Beans Cafe on

Nice larger size pastry brush option for large loaves of bread, rolled dough, etc.. Thick plastic handle and good overall construction. Thank you for another great product!

from Domestic Life Concepts on

This brush is really good for applying butter on a pan. It's also good for placing simple syrup on cakes. I haven't noticed any bristles coming off yet.

on

This brush is nice for brushing sauces on food. The bristles are soft and none came out while I was using it. It also rinses out very clean.

on

The 2" Nylon Bristle Pastry Brush is easy to use and clean. We use this for adding a coat of oil or egg wash to pastries.

from Lance on

We love this pastry brush. We use it to glaze fruit tarts, and to coat pastries with butter before baking. It has held up well

from Crust Vegan Bakery on

Perfect brush for greasing cake pans, Bundt pans and waffle iron! As a vegan I love that the bristles are not animal hair! The only other brushes I have found are silicone and do not hold enough oil/grease for goo coverage.

from Sweet & Kind on

I am very happy with my purchase of this 2 inch nylon bristle pastry brush it’s very nice to use when having to brush milk on my homemade pies before I bake them

from P2B on

Great little brush. The handle is nice and light. The Brussels have not come out of the holder so far. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

from Rise Bakery on

We were always fans of natural bristle brushes until we found these! The price is great & the quality too. There no loss of bristles & they clean up easily!

on

If you are a coffee shop or cafe with espresso and other coffee grinders, this pastry brush is perfect for wiping away coffee grounds. The width makes it easy to move grinds around, and the bristles do not easily fray or go awry even after daily use.

from Marine Park Coffee, LLC on

We use these brushing for egg washing, dusting, and greasing pans. These brush hold up well better that horse hair brushes. Good buy too! Highly recommended.

from Barton's Flowers and Bake Shop, LLC on

I choose this to butter my bread for grill cheese over the butter wheel. This works great for penny's on the dollar compared to a butter wheel. This is a item I will replace every year simply because it is affordable to.

from Pretty Odd Wieners on

I love this 2" Nylon Bristle Pastry Brush. Perfect brush to butter your pans, croissants and many other pastries/desserts. I will purchase more of these and I highly recommend this brush.

on

A great pastry brush that is perfect for brushing our homemade biscuits with butter. The brush locks in the right amount of butter without over saturating them and dripping it all over the counter. It is also very to easy to wash.

on

This is a great quality brush. With proper maintenance, it will last you for years of usage. Compare this price to other vendors and see the savings with Webstaurant!

from Orchid Gourmet on

Purchased for our college student. She does a lot of baking and is quite excited to now have this in her kitchen. We may purchase a few more.

on

These nylon bristle pastry brushes are really nice because they are easy to clean, take some heat, and don't hold onto smells or colors from foods.

from Mustang Alley's on

This is a great pastry brush. We use it mostly for egg or cream on pastries. The bristles seem to be a good size and there are no nylon bristles falling off on the baked goods.

on

Very nice brush, soft bristles that are gentle on tender rolls. This replaces a brush from another company that had a hook that kept the brush from falling into the cup, so that is the only feature this one doesn't have that I would like. All in all, very good brush at a good price.

from First Baptist Church on

great value on a basic product. the nylon bristles have held up to heat relatively well and will hold a surprising quantity of product. perfect for applying sauces and glazes.

from Pulse UltraLounge on

I thought I would give this a try but it is pretty stiff and not very nice to the pastries I need glazed or egg washed. I prefer natural fiber/hair.

from Treva's Pastries and Fine Foods on

I love this brush! It is small and perfect for my purposes. I use it to egg wash my products. I have another one that I use for glazing and it is great!

from hermans bakery inc on

I needed a pastry brush that I could use for hot pans that are a bit too high temp for normal pastry brushes. This does the job. Since the brush is made of nylon, it keeps its shape longer and better than normal brushes.

on

This 2" brush is a nice size to have in your kitchen - it coats well and feels good in hand. The nylon material is easy to clean and maintain.

on

Very durable in use and after multiple commercial dish washings. The 2" width gives decent coverage and is great for many different size jobs. The white color goes with everything in the kitchen and is easy to spray or paint if you need something color-coded (as in our Kosher kitchen).

from Pearlstone Center on

Essential for evenly spreading melted butter on rolls! I also use this for baking! If you don't have one and try to use your finger to spread liquids (like I did); get this! You won't be disappointed, and because it's made well, the bristles won't come out in your food.

on

I use this pastry brush for everything! I like the nylon brush better than the other brush because it makes it easier to clean and maintain.

from ToothAche Bakery on

This is a good, solid, inexpensive pastry brush. With many other natural fiber brushes, we have issues with the bristles coming loose in the food. That has not been a problem with this.

on

I wanted a pastry bush that would clean up nicely, leaving no residue behind, this is the one! It works well spreading my "special" coating for all of my baking pans Lois G

on

This is a very basic pastry brush but it works perfectly for basting items during cooking and even using egg wash on baked goods! Supportive brush!
