First impressions out of the box: Mine clocks in at just about 19" long (18¹5/¹6'). The quality feels nice, although the fit and finish have room for improvement. It was packed with some Chrome wire shelving pieces, and the handle appears to have gotten scratched before receiving the masher. This makes me wonder if the whole tool is chromed or if possibly some of it is nickel-plated. There is a color change at the base of where the bars meet the handle. However, I'm unsure if this was an attempt to plate the handle after welding it to a chrome working end partially coating over chrome or if it's silver touch-up paint. Whatever it is, I'm sure I'll wear off the chrome quickly. The and that does the work seems to be built well and has a uniform finish, so hopefully, it'll functionally be good quality.

Appears to be quite durable and is heavy duty without being heavy in weight. Makes mashing stiffer foods like beans and chickpeas a breeze and isn't too big for home kitchen applications. Do wish it had a loop through the handle to be able to hang it up by.

I personally love this masher it is solid and makes mashing potatoes simple and easy to do, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking!

This is a large, great potato masher but could be used to mash other things as well. Well made and should last awhile but will definitely purchase more if needed.

This is a strong, sturdy tool. It is a little too big for our operation though, (we thought we'd do larger "mash" batches) and hard for smaller cooks to use. But overall - well made and effective.

This one is like a bulldozer it is veeeeery sturdy and huge it gets the job done. The quality is the highest it doesn’t peel been using it for a long time now. I’ll buy it again with my eyes closed .

Being completely honest here, it almost works too well. Since switching vto this masher from my older plastic one, I've noticed that the design and weight means I have much less work to do to get smooth, consistent mashed potatoes. I don't remove the skins from my mash, and it didn't matter, this smasher, crasher, potato masher gives me even and smooth mash, bits of skin and all. Clean up is easy, I thought I might have issues cleaning where the round stock joints up, but no, things rinse easily and wash easily. Works great on sweet potato mash too. The rubberized handle doesn't lose traction even over a steamy pot, which was the exact problem my previous masher had that elicited this purchase.

I bought this masher not for potatoes but for strawberries while making jam. Though I have not made the first batch of jam yet, I can tell it is going to do a great job. It is very solidly constructed. The mashing head has a grill that is very closely spaced and should work well for my use. This is no sissy masher, it is a MEGA masher. Note that even though it is described as a 18 inch, it actually measures in at almost 19 inches.

had some small mashing that needed to be done in a 2 gallon bucket and this worked perfectly, fit nicely inside and got the edges well

Finally...a potato masher that makes me feel as powerful as Thor. This masher whips through ten pounds of potatoes in mere seconds, and is easy to clean (if somewhat difficult to store, due to its size). Recommended.

This is a high quality masher. It works better than the light weight little mashers I’ve used before. The long handle makes it perfect for large pots.

This Masher has proven to be sturdy enough for our various uses in this commercial Kitchen. The soft grip is a great addition. We also noticed ist does not rust.

Awesome! I bought this for home use. For commercial use you'd probably want one with a bigger head. But for my use this is perfect. Heavy duty. Very good quality.

Great utensil for all types of kitchens. Lightweight yet heavy duty that will hold up to everyday wear and tear from normal kitchen use. Comfortable handle makes it easy to hold and use. Great product for mixing and mashing.

The whole thing is quite sturdy and the handle is easy to grip. We use this for whenever we have large family get togethers and need to mash large quantities of potatoes. It definitely gets the job done better than anything else that we have used so far!!

These are priced right and are probably a good buy for the price but they are definitely not very durable so you should buy several to keep for when they break!

Good size mixer for large batches, easy to clean and has a durable design. This is useful to stir up soups and to stir up large amounts of rice. .

This Potato Masher is excellent. I really don't like the taste of potatoes with a hand mixer so this one is awesome. It is very long but we don't seem to mind that.

Sturdy as can be. This masher is built for business and doesn't have any pieces to it. It is one solid piece so there is no worry about screws or bolts loosening over time and potentially contaminating foods.

This is a very heavy weight masher with a nice long handle which is perfect for mashing veggies for soup in my huge stockpot. Because of its weight, I have also used it to flatten chicken breasts into cutlet thin pieces. Could also be used as a weapon should one get robbed. This potato masher works really well and it is easy to clean up. The soft grip handle really does make it more ergonomic. Great value for the cost.

I have a large stock pot for canning and this masher is extra-long so that I can safely work with foods. You won’t find something like this in a big box store. Thank you Webstaurant for providing tools for every need!

This thing is a beast. Incredibly sturdy and doesn't give any indication of stress when being used. Mashes ingredients well and is easy to wash.

This is a much better masher compared to the wood handled ones available. It lasts a long time, cleans up well and has no problem mashing tough vegetables.

It is inexpensive but it is worth the price it is long easy to use with a soft grip handle and can take a lot of work. very happy with product.

We have a meal prep business and make lots of sweet potato mash, this bad boy gets the job done with ease. The handle is extra long so keeping your hands clean is a breeze.

This pounds a batch of potatoes out like a world champion. It does not make whipped potatoes like a large blender can though, but for many potato dishes it is just fine. It is solid and durable and the rubber grip helps as well. I removed the rubber grip and cut the handle length down some then replaced the grip. i prefer it shorter for better control.

not using it for potatoes just yet but we will see what it can do for packing cabbage into a crock for sauerkraut and letting it ferment. But it's strong and sturdy for the price

Well this was a surprise at how large it is. Don't let that keep you from purchasing it though. Making mashed potatoes has never been easier with this. As long as you have a place to store it you should buy it.
