After a lot of searching and cross comparison we bought the VacPak-It VCM100P. It arrived quickly, just a few days, maybe two. We chose the oil filled pump because all other reviews of similar products stated the oil filled was the quieter of the two. This assumption proved right as it is real quiet, considering the job it is doing. It's heavy coming in around 60# so waited until I had help to get it up where we wanted it. It is too valuable to risk dropping and ruining it. So far I like the machine although I do have some issues concerning it. First, the manual was written for the larger machines and the VMC10 was just tagged along to save the manufacturer form haing to write a proper manual for this model. I've had this unit for a couple weeks now, replacing a smaller VacMaster unit. It appears to be well made and has worked flawlessly in that time. However, there are some shortcomings. The information available is somewhat limited. Asking a sales rep for the unit's weight revealed that such simple info isn't available. (This would have been useful when determining the table that this would be located upon.) Many units of this size/price use glass for the cover. With no information in the description, I had assumed it was a glass top but appears to be a thick plastic. My last unit failed due to the plastic cover cracking. The unit worked perfectly for my purposes with 10" bags until the 5th use. Then a cheap metal washer broke in half. This washer held the electrical supply pin for the sealing bar in place; without it the unit is a 80 lb paper weight on my countertop. Make sure you follow the letter of the warranty because the unit has cheap parts that may break on day 2 of use and Webstaurant won't stand behind the product for replacement or repair.

I am not a commercial business, however, I have been involved in sous vide /vacuum sealing for a long time. I had a external vacuum sealer for around 12 years and wanted to level up my game for sous vide and storage. I got the 16" inch width seal bar model for a bunch of reasons. 1) I want to be able to sear meat, then vacuum seal without dealing with the mess and faulty seals of an external model. This thing is massive, the door is 1"thick! Very easy to use and program, seals anything. I love this machine. It will be used mainly for sliced meats, prepared meats and sausages, wild game cuts and whole butchered processed chicken. So far it vacuums and seals anything i can stuff in the bags. More commercial than home grade use. Will last me a lifetime

This is the smallest vacuum machine I’ve ever purchased and I’m happy with the results. I opted for the oil model as I heard or read it was the quieter of the two and it indeed it. Very easy to plug and play. I bought it for my home and personal use and I can’t wait to see the awesome food I can marinade and preserve with this unit.

I purchased the vac sealer and I have been very happy. The unit is compact, nice lines so it is easy to keep clean. Webstaurant store does a great job with shipping so it arrived in perfect condition. I will get a lot of use out of this machne going forwRD

I ordered this vacuum sealer and was shipped within days. It was pretty light and has all instructions. Once I read through the instructions it was easy to operate. The sealer worked great. Sealed all my food without any problems and all the controls are in the front for easy access. I did great with dry items and wet items. Lid makes it very easy to open and close with a lock latch for it. easy to start and works without any issues. The chamber is a good size for sealing and the heat bar is pretty wide as well for a secure seal... LOVE IT

Can't give this less than 5 stars because the quality of this machine is 5 stars. HOWEVER, I have to agree with Dean S. on his comment about oil management. The manual is almost useless with how much oil the machine takes or even if you have to initially fill it with oil. It did come with oil in it, but wasn't even close to what was needed. When first adding oil the oil level didn't move. etc. etc. It did end up moving up to the fill line with about 10 added oz. I'm just putting my two cents worth in so hopefully they improve the instructions in the manual for future purchasers. Easily 5 stars on the actual product.

I think I got the Lemon. I received this machine 14 months ago. It worked fine until yesterday when I heard a short buzz while the sealer was in the sealing mode. The display showed what I assume is an error code (E01). Trying to contact anyone from WebRestaurantStore isn't the most customer friendly. The only contact method is via chat. When I explained the issue I was having, I was told that my item is out of warranty (3 months) and that they could not help me and that I should contact a local repair service. When I asked to speak to a tech service person to determine the error code ( I would fix it myself if I knew which part to order) I only ran about 250 bags through the sealer. Awesome machine, while it worked. No help from WRS at all.

Purchased this in late 2018. This thing is a beast :) Ended up buying a 24" x 24" stainless steel table with wheels so that we can move this thing around when not being used. We buy a lot of products in bulk, portion them out and use the chamber vac to prep them for storage in the freezer. We buy the thicker bags 4 mil bags and the results have exceeded expectations. The lid on my chamber vac stopped working correctly a couple days ago.....contacted Websturant support via online chat......was in contact with as support person within a minute or two, figured out the part needed, and had it on order a couple minutes later. Great support experience.

Great unit. Very easy to change settings for different products, easy to clean. Great value for the money. Is the right size as it can be stored undercounter and is not too heavy to move

Pump seized within a week, was defective or something, however webstaurant store made it worth our while and sent us a new one in two days. Since then this little guy is a beast

PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW BEFORE BUYING, I bought a vacPak-it VMC32 from Webstaurant on 12-11-2022, after less than 2 years and less than 500 sealed bags it started locking up, I called numerous times and e-mailed several times, they said it could be lid seal or circuit board, I replaced both and still had same problem, called a technician and he said we wont work on VacPak-it cause technical support was very bad, finally found someone to work on it and he said it was the main circuit board, (different than the one I had already replaced) called Webstaurant again to try to order the main circuit board and after several attempts they finally said they would have to contact the vendor to special order it, but machine was probably unfixable and a new one would be my best option, i asked to contact the vendor directly to Read More

4 Stars based on the small issue/beep mentioned below, otherwise it would be 5. Works awesome and has sealed hundreds of bags but after moving several time the front right peg for the sealing bar popped loose. After unplugging the unit and letting it sit for a bit we were able to remove the front panel, push the connection back up and re-secure the clip that wiggled out. The beeping noise is also annoying and I hope they could allow an option for turning that off as it scares one of my dogs who has some beep PTSD. Even with the small issue and the beeps I still continue to recommend this to everyone who watches how fast we seal for sous vide, marinating, freezer storage (no freezer burn!), and even sealing extra soup we cook.

Awesome machine for the money. This is my second chamber sealer. First was larger and not the same amount of vacuum. it gave up working. I go this machine, added the oil and it works. Quicker vacuum process, Shorter seal time with far better results. Previous machines the sealed back would inflate or seal would fail no matter the amount of heat or seal time. This machine is has yet to fail in sealing a bag. Also bags retain vacuum even in freezer. The vacuum is much stronger. Like the fact the lid auto opens when completes. I look forward to many years use. Thanks for a great affordable product.

So far I am very pleased with this machine. It seems well built and very high quality. Especially for the price compared to competing models. I have probably packed at least one hundred pounds of meat in individual serving packages and several gallons of soup for individual servings. It is the perfect beginner model of chamber vacuum. It does not have all of the options some of the other brands have but it is an extremely capable machine. I have no complaints so far and would recommend and purchase again.

We burned through a few thousand FoodSavers before we finally bit the bullet and purchased this machine. After almost a full year of use, we are very pleased with it. We put away a few whole animals a month for our on-farm butchering classes, and so far we have had none of the typical problems that crept up with other commercial machines we have used in other facilities. In the past, seal bars on other machines heat up too much and cause melting problems and the seals are not as tight AFTER a full day of use. However, this machine has not had these endurance problems, and so far has handled everything we throw at it with very little maintenance. Very easy to clean. Sturdy and a real game changer for us. Keep the oil fresh and you should have no problems.

bought this a few months ago to replace an ARY vacuum sealer that failed. this one seems much better quality and works without issues. will wait to see how it holds up over time

Our company spent a significant amount of time researching the right Chamber Vacuum Sealer for our needs. After going through a less than stellar experience with another brand we settled on the VacPak-It VMC10OP. The machine was delivered and arrived in excellent condition signature required. Setup was extremely fast and easy. We did notice a few small errors in the manual regarding setup. Once setup we were ready to start working. The machine is super quiet compared to other machines and provides excellent vacuum pressure and a very secure seal. We are super excited with our new machine and after 150+ seals in the first day things are working great!

The VMC10OP is perfect for all our preservation and fast marinating needs. The set up was simple and quick, and has proved efficient and simple for all users. Its counter profile is not obtrusive and fits nicely on our prep island. From cakes to venison fillets, this machine will get a lot of use.

Purchased this unit for one of our teaching kitchens. Have used it over the last few weeks and it works very well. It vacuums and seals very tight around product. It is great for bags 10" and under. it is an oil-less unit which is nice. we have a larger floor model for larger jobs but this is a great tabletop unit. I would purchase again.

Total trash... First unit worked for a week replacement unit broke after only 650 bags. Do not recommend this product, do not buy this product. This thing should be removed from store as it will break After your warranty its over and parts are unavailable.

The relay board on the unit died and you can't get a replacement. Customer support is pathetic and the lack of supply parts and repair parts. There's nothing more than a giant rip off.off.

Use this machine for packaging wild game and home grown food. It has paid for itself two times over. Zero complaints. Would purchase another with no reservations.

Overall I am not very happy with this purchase looking back at it. I have owned this for a little over 4 years and might have used it a total of 100 times (in my home). The lid struts failed before a year was out, the LCD screen went out at 2 years and has has a number of dark areas and is difficult to read, and now at the 4 year mark the pump won't take it to full pressure. So, it is shot. I know it is well past warranty - but this is a piece of crap.

This product is very easy to use and does most of the job for you. This is a great machine to have, would definitely recommend!

I have both the #186VMC10OP and the #186VMC12OP, the #186VMC10OP is a lot noiser the the #186VMC12OP and the lid does not stay opened from brand new. it also does not pull vacumn as well as the #186VMC12OP. I will not purchase another 186VMC10OP. I attempted to order struts to replace and their out of stock.

Great vacuum sealer! We had a commercial Weston vacuum for years but they were not keeping up as we got busier. This one is heavy duty, easy to clean and seals tight and clean heat seals every time. Highly recommended.

This machine is amazing, they day we got it we packed 150# beef from the butcher and it never missed a beat. I use it daily to put up produce from the garden and find things in my freezer to re-pack that have lost their seal from prior food-saver. We have also sealed sauces and liquids with no problem! Great product at a great price! BUY IT if your are contemplating one or comparing similar brands, you wont be disappointed. I have it on a rolling chopping block stand and just move it near the plug when I need it as opposed to keeping on counter.

I received this on may 25, 2023. I had to have my son unbox it so it was about a week before I got it set up. The machine had oil all over the sides and top, also in the depressions for feet. My son, who is a chef and owns a restaurant said to send it back. There was NO. DAMAGE to the box so I thought maybe it got tipped. I checked the oil level and it didn’t even register! I took the back off, per the instructions, there was NO OIL in the bottom of the sealer. I got the oil supplied with sealer and filled machine. IT NEVER REGISTERED IN FILL WINDOW! I noticed oil on the floor and the table. I tipped the sealer to look underneath and the was oil dripping from sides.  Read More

Unit arrived as expected and machine functions well. Bought this unit to replace another machine that had an oil pump which did not receive its proper maintenance. Oil pumps require extra tpc but may work better overall

My location that utilizes this product is very pleased with its performance. It gets used daily and they've had no issues for over a year. Great size and bang for your buck. I would highly recommend.

Awesome machine. Worked great for 4 years until something I was sealing busted open. The machine began malfunctioning. That's what I'd expect. But GOOD LUCK trying to fix it. The machine is privately branded by Webstraunt as "Vacpac-it". There is no way to contact the manufacturer. Webstaraunt does not have the schematics, assembly drawings, detailed troubleshooting, or all of the replacement parts necessary for a repair. So buyer beware, this will be a throwaway item because two of the smartest troubleshooting technicians have worked on it for over 3 hours now. Although Webstaraunt tried to help, they couldn't because they don't have the information. Sad situation for my business. Don't buy this product.
